The "4Valli trail" is a permanent and marked trail for MTB and MTeB located in the mountains of Carnia,
100 km long and with more than 4,000 meters of altitude difference.

An unforgettable adventure, a personal challenge, between Val Tagliamento, Val Degano, Val Pesarina and Valle del Lumiei, to be completed in 1 or 2 consecutive days, with the awareness that it's not a race if not with yourself.
The aim is to certify the passage in the 5 stamp points that you will find along the route, overcoming in some cases strong and very demanding climbs (which will take you to the maximum altitude of 1885 masl Forcella Pieltinis) and exciting descents, to then return to the point of your departure.


You will have to plan your tour well (especially if you will face it on an ebike so as not to run out of "dry", the recharge points, you can find them in a downloadable map in the "Route" area), and be able to face the 2 stages of 2500 vertical meters or completing it in one day, but the thing is for a "pro", a very demanding test.
The ascent to Malga Navas, this year changed with the ascent of Raveo, towards the locality of Pani, less demanding, but ideal to indicate how the climbs are in Carnia, to then move on to the important ascent of the STENTARIA ” (6, 5 km) with steep slopes of 17-18% and peaks of 31%, (declared by some to be more demanding than the legendary "Kaiser" Zoncolan).
The most panoramic part of the route is the transit that takes place from Malga Losa, Malga Gerona, Malga Pieltinis, Malga Vinadia, Malga Malins, Laghi di Festons, all at high altitude.
The route, always marked at important points with the tour logo in orange (just take a look at all the intersections), will amaze you, passing from broad-leaved woods to coniferous ones, to then pedal through high mountain meadows, meeting the fauna and flora of the Carnic mountains and discovering the anthropic signs of life in the mountains, with its huts, its shelters and its votive icons.

Now it's up to you to decide at what time and when to get ready for departure and begin the experience of the 4Valli trail.
To tackle this exciting adventure, buy your "4Valli" kit from the website, and pick it up at the INFO POINTS (see list and opening hours of the affiliated ones) and at the IATs closest to where you will be staying. You will find the KIT from 17.00 to 20.30 the evening before the departure date of your choice, inside you will find everything you need to follow the route and reach the 5 stamp points. ATTENTION TO THE TIMETABLES OF THE PROMOTURISMOFVG INFOPOINTS. UPDATED TIMETABLES ARE FOUND ON THE WEBSITE WWW.TURISMOFVG.IT
Once you have collected the 5 different stamps, you will have to deliver the completed stamp card to the Ampezzo info point or The Orange Line in Tolmezzo, you will thus be, if desired, registered in the list of those who COMPLETED THE TOUR and collect the 4Valli trophy / souvenir from complete with its trophy holder. If you finish the "4Valli trail" in the evening after the info point closes (8.30 pm), you can hand in your stamp card the following day by 10.00 am.
